Race report by Jack Mcmillan
The South Australian EP On-road State Titles were held at the Littlehampton track located in the Adelaide hills. The attendance was a little low this year and mainly made up of locals but there was still some great competition.

There were four qualifying heats on Saturday with two heats on Sunday followed by the finals. The grip was low in the morning on Saturday so we had to adjust the car but that wasn’t a problem for us with the XRAY. The grip level slowly came up throughout the practices runs so the times were getting faster. In the first qualifier I managed to get second and then second in the next two qualifiers. In the fourth qualifier I came first which meant to TQ I had to win in the next two in the morning.

Sunday arrived and I was focused on trying to win the next two qualifiers so we put some new tyres on the car to give us the best chance. In the first qualifier of the morning I went off the track ruining my chances of coming top qualifier so I qualified second overall.

Finals time!! In the first final I crashed on the first lap but I fought all the way back up to second, then just my luck first place crashed so I came first in A1. In the second final it was a tough battle between the top qualifier (Antoni Caretti) and myself. We were switching positions back and forth throughout the race but I narrowly took the win in the second final and the overall win!! I wanted to make it 3 from 3 so I ran the last final and also took the win!!

The XRAY worked really well throughout all of the weekend and my dad and I only had to make very small changes all weekend. Thanks to Adelaide RC for all their help over the weekend.
